Mike lives in Northallerton, North Yorkshire, with his wife Joyce. They have two sons, and are members of Hollybush Christian Fellowship in Thirsk. Mike was born in Sunderland and, at the outbreak of World War 2, was evacuated to a farm in North Yorkshire. He later joined the RAF and visited Jerusalem and Samaria. He became a born-again Christian when he invited Jesus into his life and was filled with the Holy Spirit in Thirsk Town Hall. God's hand has been at work in Mike's and Joyce's lives over the years and they have experienced His peace throughout family health problems and a recent sudden death. Come and hear how God is able to work in anyone's life, if we will only believe and recognise that we need rescuing. | ||

He did two years of National Service in the Missile Gun Boat Squadron of the Singapore Navy as a gunnery officer. He then left Singapore and came to Britain to train as an accountant. | ||
