Following a difficult and often complex childhood, growing up in the immediate post-war period in a tough environment, and not receiving any real sign of love or affection until he was seven years old, created all sorts of issues.  This experience was so bad that Michael was unable to talk about it, until well into his 30's, without a flood of tears.  However, when God intervened in his life, at the age of 21, it was to become a pivotal moment in his life - although Michael did not realise it at the time.  From then on the healing process had been activated, but further dramatic events were to occur, testing Michael's resolve and faith to the limit.

For your information: the main course of the meal on 20th July 2009 is as follows.

Honey Roast Ham with a Cider and Peach Sauce served with potatoes and a selection of vegetables.

Or Vegetarian option - Stuffed Peppers with rice and vegetables, served with a light mushroom sauce.

The Hotel requires the vegetarian option to be ordered on the Friday morning before the dinner; however, we can still accept non-vegetarian bookings up to the Monday morning, provided that the extra numbers are not exceptionally high.

For those that prefer fruit salad or diabetic fruit salad as a dessert, we also need to book these in advance, so please confirm your requirements at the time of booking.
