Raphael runs the Apostolic Renewal Centre with his wife Frances on the island of Malta but this had not always been so.

He was invited to England to share his testimony after speaking at the European FGBMFI Convention in his own country. In the beginning Raphael tried to improve his life style in his own strength. Keen on sport, drinking and working long hours and married with three children, pain from ulcers caused him to take tranquilisers. He was also accused of fraud of $200,000. He sought healing through mediums etc., and after seeing the error of his ways and the destruction of his life he turned his life over to someone more forgiving than any other person on earth
