Dr Phil Walsh

"Brought up in London in post-war years, I followed a scientific education gaining a degree in physics and a PhD for research into the electrical properties of diamond.  I embarked on a career in the microchip industry with a major UK electronics company, moving later into the newly-emerging microchip division in Plymouth, where I was eventually responsible for the division’s engineering activities.  I left in 1984 to co-found and manage a small high tech start-up company, designing and making robotics for microchip manufacture, which grew to 50+ employees.

In 1989 I came to faith in Christ, finding both freedom and challenge as I worked out the implications of my new-found faith in family and workplace."
