John Gaughan

At the age of just 19 John was singing with the top stars of the 1960's.  He was a member of "Herman's Hermits" and a songwriter for "The Drifters" , but success did not bring John any satisfaction.  Alcohol had left him a broken man and in total desperation he tried to end his life by throwing himself from a attic window.
.
During his time in hospital he became a Christian and God miraculously healed him and delivered him from acute alcoholism.  For 11 years John has been given songs by God; he will share his story and sing us a variety of songs - both gospel and secular songs.
