The title for the evening is Science & Faith - Do they mix ?
Stuart Cripps, from Warrington, a nuclear physicist and Technical Manager for a leading UK consultancy and engineering company, is our speaker. Stuart is also National Executive Officer of FGBMFI, a UK and global Christian marketplace ministry. He will first share his testimony, then answer questions after a break for refreshments.
Stuart graduated from ManchesterUniversity with first class honours in Physics, specialising in Nuclear Physics. He will share how, at university, he proved to his own satisfaction that an all-powerful God must exist. Using the second law of thermodynamics, and Einstein’s theory of relativity, Stuart disputes aspects of evolution, arguing that the theory is not supported by scientific evidence and that a designer and creator of the universe must exist outside our perceived limits of time and space. He also demonstrates how he went on to prove, through personal experience, that the Great Original Designer (God) can and does have a personal relationship with any individual who becomes a Christian.
Wales and Borders FGBMFI are holding a Regional Convention on Friday & Saturday, 29th-30th June 2012 at The Elephant & Castle Hotel, Broad Street, Newtown, Powys. SY16 2BQ
